03 Mar Newman Golf Day Creates Big Impact
Newman were delighted with the turnout at Sweetwoods Park Golf Club for the annual Newman Charity Golf Day in aid of Impact Initiatives.
An impressive eighteen teams attended the event from companies across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
The event raised in excess of £3,400 through various auctions and competitions held during the day. Winning team captain Craig Harman from Perry’s Chartered Accountants said ” It was a great day out on a nice course which was in good condition and helped to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. The event was well organised and we particularly liked the fact there was a good mixture of team and individual prizes. Nearest to the coffee machine was a new idea and certainly changed the approach to the hole! The comedian was very funny and meant the whole day had a very relaxed atmosphere, of course it was a bonus to be the winning team”.
Caroline Ridley from Impact Initiatives the host charity said “Thank you for making us the charity for the day, it is really appreciated and the money raised really will change peoples lives positively”
